Why not install little tiny sunroofs? Lol.
It seems a bit redundant for a Jeep.

That's pretty cool. It looks like they cut your existing panels. For $1300 you should get all new panels, IMO.

With a decent amount of talent, alot of patience, some plexiglass or hard polycarbonate and some caulking, we could do that too. It probably wouldn't be as nice though. Good idea! I have pondered the thought of sewing in some strataglass into my (or a cheap second) soft top...
