Question My front bumper build - comments please

I'm working on a front bumper to accommodate my Warn 8274.

I'm almost finished the design stage... I have a few tweaks left (moving fog light mounts, etc).

Here are some pics of my current design. It's modeled after a certain other bumper out there (I'm sure you can guess...).

A couple things to note:
-Ignore the lines on top of the bumper, those are the mounts poking through.

What do you guys think? Any comments/suggestions/criticism? My only "concern" right now is that it might be too deep (ie - stick out too far).

I have a request: Can someone measure the "depth" of their aftermarket bumper and tell me? I need "front of bumper" to "grill" distance... just to compare to see if mine it too deep.

Of course... if it is too deep, my only other option is to go stubby (but lose the fogs), or cut my grill to make room for my winch (less than ideal).

Anyway, now the pics!

EDIT: Updated grill... it's now mostly proper size. Might be sitting a bit low though, relative to the frame rails.
EDIT^2: Added shackle mounts.

Yes, thanks for reminding me... they're for shackle mounts (like the bumper I "copied" )

Someone suggested more of a taper, so I figure I'd post the attempt:

One with more taper yet:

Took my bumper off last night for final bumper-mount measurements. I think I'm done. Pics of the final design are below, including the drawing that's headed to the water cutters on monday. Any final comments/suggestions/criticism?
