My latest front bumper build
5 Attachment(s)
This is the second bumper I have built. I built this one for a friend and we put it on his 2011 sahara. It is set up with a smittybuilt 8000lb winch and 6" KC lights.

The attach points are 1/2" grade 8 bolts welded to the back side of the bumper. They have held up very well on my JK since I set it up a year ago. As for the paint I went cheap and easy three coats of rattle can primer and three coats of rattle can flat black. I thought about powder coat but with the paint I am able to take it off every spring and respray it and make it look brand new. My jeep (rescue green) and my buddys (black) right after we put his lift on.

Please review our FAQ............. Can manufacturers, vendors, dealers or Jeep related businesses post on this forum? Contrary to what many seem to think, JK-Forum.com didn't just magically appear on the internet and if it weren't for the generous help and financial support of our sponsors, it simply wouldn't exist. Need I say, we feel that it wouldn't be fair to those companies who are helping to support us to allow other manufacturers, vendors, dealerships or Jeep related businesses to benefit from our forum by allowing them to post comments here unless they are helping to carry the load as well. So, unless you are a sponsoring advertiser of Project-JK.com, you need to know that it is our policy to not allow manufacturers, vendors, dealers, Jeep related businesses or even for-profit publications to participate on or solicit their products, services, or websites anywhere on JK-Forum.com, or contact our members though private messages. This would include a user name, signature and/or user profile that contains your business name, phone number and/or direct link back to your website. This rule applies to the owner of the business in question, those who are employeed by it or are even affiliated with it. NOTE: If a manufacturer, vendor, dealer or Jeep related business is caught attempting to solicit their goods and/or services undercover by pretending to be an average consumer, their account here will be banned and their company blacklisted from any discussion here on JK-Forum.com. (See ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY above) Also.... How can I become a sponsor of Project-JK.com and JK-Forum.com? If you would like to become a sponsoring advertiser of Project-JK.com, please contact the Administrator by clicking on the CONTACT US link below. NOTE: We do limit the amount of sponsoring 'vendors' that we allow on at any given time and are not accepting any new ones at this time. We are only accepting sponsoring manufacturers. Sorry. |
