Default Olympic 4x4 cargo rack

Was looking for a cargo rack for some time. Didn't want to spend 1500 for a bumper just to hold a rack and didn't need the added length of a hitch mount. I found what is officially called the Mountaineer Rack by Olympic 4x4 Products. I have a Best Top Flexatrunk to hide things that should be out of site. This was a perfect add for more storage.

Install was easy with 2 people about 1.5 hrs total. The paint on the rack is a bit weak so I'll have to touch up some spots but not too bad. Also, had to cut the rear panel on the Flexatrunk a bit. I don't use the forward part of the Flexatrunk that fits up against the back seats but that would have been an issue if i had.

Had to sneak in a pic of the new Xtreme M/Ts that I picked up the same day

Probably should have took that blue thing out but oh well^^

small notch out of front most panel ^^

Have you tried putting your soft top down yet? I think the rack will interfere with the rear soft top bows.

Nice Rack!

But seriously, I do like that. Let us know if it interferes with the soft top.

Haven't tried putting the top down yet. In fact in the year and a half i've owned the jeep i've only put it down once . It looks like it will (edit) NOT interfere but it has quick connects so not too much of a big deal.

About $250. Quadratec has it Northridge doesn't. I bought from a local shop to avoid shipping charges. Rumor has it SoCal locals (they are in Commerce i think) can call them direct and pick up if they have cash in hand.
