Of course if you want the whole story...

tailgate got some dents from the spare, bumper cover is creased and scratched, and the front bumper is only scratched. I'm surprised the back end didn't have more damage. Shrockworks your phone is going to be ringing for a rear bumper.

Glad there wasn't that much damage done.

Yeah, insurance companies ought to give us a discount for installing Shrockworks bumpers. I, too, want the rear in some distant future when I don't have college bills to pay for my son and when the stock market recovers. Oh well, that could be a while.

It'd be a discount for having a rear bumper and an increase for having the front if they did that. The logic would be you're less likely to have damage with a rear, but more likely to do damage with the front.

Yup. Been there, done that. The driver 2 cars in front of me slammed on her brakes, the next car slammed on his, and I slammed into him. Crushed his Hyundai and pushed him into her car. Maybe even totaled both. I got a little white scratch on the winch hoop. Less damage than I get on a typical day in the woods.

The claims adjuster showed up today. He's actually going to give a decent amount to rattle can the front. Of course the only thing I plan on doing is getting the alignment re-done since the steering is off a little, the rest, straight to upgrades (hopefully).

Good to hear your Jeep didn't take much damage.
Did you get a ticket for following too closely?
If so, I'm surprised you don't have to pay for the damage your front bumper did.

Ummm by the pictures he posted, it looks to me like he got rear ended and because of that, he hit the car in front of him.
