Painting a JK Olive Drab *UPDATE*

Here are some shots of RubiConVict's JK which he decided to have ChevyM14 rattle can olive drab :synister: and it came out great. This is a work in progress and is going on day 3 of work, still to be added are military decals and finish up the doors.

What kind of paint did you use, and what did you do to prepare the body panels to be painted. How many layers, did you clear coat it, etc. Thanks. |

we got 12 cans 4 are left but the doors are prob gonna take about 3 when theyre all done. Im not sure of the paint exactly its a ww2 olive drab that chevym14 uses on his willys mb, im sure he'll post up and answer any questions.
To prep we used 400 grit sand paper and then cleaned it with a presol. ChevyM14 did all the painting we took anything off that we could and masked all the rest Attachment 21387 |
