Forget what it looks like. Is it smthg you actually need. If you're girding water and want a cheap alternative to hydro locking your jeep, then a snorkel is the way to go. If it's not smthg you need, spend the $ on smthg useful for your setup. That being said, I've had a snorkel on both my jk's for wheelin in the pine barrens. Can't be too safe there!

 

I haven't had my jeep really deep yet, just to about the bottom of the doors but i got the snorkel because i don't want to take a chance if i run through something that i don't think that is too deep and find out the hard way that it is!!
