I am not sure if you need anything being auto to auto. My son got my 2008 6 spd Ruby case and put it in his 2016 Sport at the time - then he sold the Jeep soon after for a 2016 JKUR - and he needed nothing but it was manual to manual. I would go sweet talk the parts guy at your local dealer to look at the exploded views of both years to see if there are different part numbers in there.

thanks.
good news but I think that is different on autos. Transmissions are different.
This is the item from 2016 t-case, 2007 is longer.

I think that post #4 here is not good news for you.

Searching around, there are many similar posts across forums saying the '12+ auto transfer cases use a unique input spline.

I get more of the sense what you have is flat out not compatible.....that it's not as simple as sourcing the proper input shaft.

That should still appeal to a Sport owner that has a 2012 + Jeep. Sell it and buy a 2007-11 version. Contact Motech in LV as we have to turf the Ruby case when you install a V8 Chev. He should have a lead on something.

Wish you were here...I have an '07 JKU Rubicon 6-spd manual and getting ready to do the MOTECH V-8 swap in a few months. I need a non-rubi case; can be any JK manual or 07-11 auto. Are you still in Romania? I just got back from there about 3 months ago (Campia Turzii).

Lefty you can probably get at least $5-700 for your case plus the buyers stock one in exchange for your Ruby one. Motech will provide you the input gear you have to change as well. If you have the 8 spd opr 10 spd Chev auto you won't even notice the 4:1 gone. Sorry for the thread hijack folks.
