I want to do this mod but, awaiting to see what volant comes up with if i don't go with them I will more than likely go for the River Raider. The members that have the River Raider swear by them plus you can color match to your vehicle so that's a plus.

 

I'm not a big fan of the look. I also don't think most people do everything that would need to be done to make them useful. That would include extending the breathers and somehow waterproofing the electrical system. I'm not sure how you'd address the electrical system.

That's one nice thing about the old diesels like the toyotas used to have. With no ignition or computer as long as you could get air in and out of them they'd run.

Ive never heardof RM Gibson. Who is that and do they make anything else?

 

Still liking the AEV, and the option to pull it off if you want and be stock.

 

I think I will go with the AEV, I want the prefilter.

Well here's my RR Snorkel too, and yes I do swear by it! I've hit very large trees with it as well and very hard and not a scratch nor a dent on it! She's not just a snorkel, she's a very tough ass snorkel!








I have no water crossing pictures with the snorkel, but I do have a video or two on youtube, just search for BrettDez, I have a couple of videos posted on youtube.

they make snorkels for almost any offroad vehicle,,I used to have thiers in my XJ it was real nice,,but I think they realy droped the ball on the jk snorkel ,
