Default Super Swamper BOGGERS ??

thinking about runnin' some 37x13x16's on a 2-door, somewhat similar to slickwill's rig, what's everyones opinion of the boggers and use on city streets... How about wear patterns of length of tread...any aggressive tires that anyone else is running that wear gently?

If you are concerned about street wear I would look at tires other than Boggers. They wear very quickly, flat spot, are incredibly loud and lack lateral grip. That having been said I would have no issue running a cut set of Boggers on an offroad only rig, but I would recommend looking elsewhere for a tire that will see a lot of street time.

Dont get me wrong, boggers are amazing tires off road but if you are remotely concerned about street manners, look somewhere else! My less aggressive MT Claws are still a little rough under 10 mph. Amazing off-road tires,

I would definetly consider the irok's over the boggers. The boggers are strictly offroad and would not be a good idea on the road. (Although they look awesome) haha

Ive run Boggers, SSRs, Buckshots, BFG KM and KM2, BFG AT, MTRs, and Thornbirds on my 73 bronco. If you are looking for a tire to seriously offroad and drive on the street look at the SSR or Irok. The Boggers were not that bad on the street but they wore terribly. They started showing wear after 5000 miles. They looked badass and offroaded great in the mud and deep snow. I sold them while they were still worth something. I would think 10,000-15,000 miles would be about all you would get on the Boggers.

IVE GOTTEN 16K ON MY BOGGERS NOW AND THERE ABOUT 30% TREAD LEFT.... oh yea and ones flat hahah anyways!!! They really are great tires.. handel great on and off road... i run about 12psi and i tell you i drive my jeep like a sorts car on road.. you really just have to feel them out. dont be stupid becareful in the rain and snow and ice.... punch it around a turn and youll slide simple as that.... offroad: no tire beats a bogger...SIMPLY they best you will never wheel harder and do more then with a bogger... they dig and dig and ethier your stuck bad or you get yourself free...

go with the boggers but be safe... if you cant be smart while DD then go for some irocks or tsls

No disrespect intended, but how many of those that responded actually have "hands on" experience with boggers?

I am not too concerned with the heavy lugs; I ran mud grapplers on a prior rig and loved the road noise. My muds were at 6k miles and barely showed a sign of wear.... how much worse are the boggers. I love the look of the boggers.

Slick will; hows the travel with those 37s on the lift?
