Default Teraflex Performance Levelin Kit Installed

On Saturday my friend and installed the TF Performance Leveling Kit and OME Nitrocharger Shocks. This was our first install and it went rather smoothly. The rear took us two and a half hours. The front took longer, but we were slightly lethargic after lunch at Ron's Hamburgers. The ride is nice, smoother than stock I think. Below is the after pic, we had it all jacked up and loosened before we remembered to take before shots. Sorry. But you can tell a big difference.

If it looks like there is a slight reverse rake that may be because we also installed 1/2" TF spacers up front in anticipation of the Rock Hard front bumper that my friend is supposed to sell me (used, but for less than half the price of a new one).

Cheers!
Cory

Thanks you, it feels good knowing I did the work myself. Next step is to get front adjustable lower control arms, probably Currie from Northridge. The caster in the front measuring at -3.3 and -3.6. Most likely will wait until the new bumper, see how it settles. The steering doesn't seem flighty at the moment. Plus the driver side camber came in -0.9 and the ball joints are fine, so I may have to address that issue first, figure out what's bent or get offset/adjustable ball joints. The positive side of the camber issue is that I can prove to my wife that it is not at all related to the small lift, allowing some more wiggle room for upgrading.

I recommend to all those who think they can't do something like this to give it a shot, start with something like this, just springs and shocks. Something you can do in less than a day. That, and have a friend with a floor jack. It's fun and you learn a ton.

From quadratec I bought the model numbers N212 and N211 (OME model numbers) for lifts from 0" to 2" lift.

When they came the boxes said long travel. I e-mailed ARB just to check and they assured me that from stock to 2" I'd be fine.

One look at the TF springs and the OME shocks in comparison to the stock springs and shocks and it all makes sense.

My friend saw that and was sold immediately on the kit and new shocks.
