There should not be any interior noise other than the noise coming from the exhaust and possibly the intake. If the noise is only prevalent under acceleration it is most likely intake noise. One way to test this is open the hood, with the engine running, and rev the engine. Have someone stand next to the intake filter while you are revving the engine. They should be able to narrow the whistle down to the intake.

The best thing to do would be to contact Dan or Brian at Burnsville East and discuss the sound with them. It could be normal transmission / t-case noise, but to be sure it is best to cover all bases and speak to them about it.

When we drive it hard the mpg is not that great. As the Jeep is set up in the video with 40" tires, rear 60, and 5.38 gears we get around 13.5 on average. A 2012 we just tested with a 6.4/ A580, 4:10 gears and 35" tires averaged 15.7 mpg city and 17.8 mph highway. Most of our customers see between 12 and 16 mpg depending on driving style and vehicle set up.
No you do not have to change out the hood in order to install a Hemi. The TMD hood on Dixie is used because it does a great job or moving hot air out from under the hood and it has functional cold air induction. Which reduces air intake temps by about 25 deg.
