I admire your creativity, but I'd just go buy a set from JKS myself.

X2 . There something about fabricating your own parts, even if it takes a little trial and error. Nice job.

Default Disconnected position

Thanks guys for the nice words

Working on my brackets to hold the links in the disconnected position.
Used all stainless steel for these. Made a simple 90 degree bracket
out of some scrap .115" SS. Used a 1/4-20 SS bolt to make a pin.
Tapped a hole for the pin in the upper coil spring bucket.
Once I lift the JK , and lengthen the links, the swaybar will be in a more vertical position.
Ran the Jeep up some hills in the back yard, never saw the tire get close to my links

this is the 1/4" pin that holds the links up

Thats awsome man great looking setup I would love to make a new set for 6 inches of lift thats my problem im having. I dont even need the quick disco setup as much as I diconect I would be fine to use a wrench everytime. I looked into the currie set but not sure if they are offered for 6 inches. My BDS click and clunk like a S.O.B. I hate em.

With your second go-around, have you noticed any clunking noises? Also, are you running on stock suspension?

I don't have a lift yet but quick discos would be nice and this is a great setup. Thanks for sharing, man!
