I saw a few posts were guys mentioned how hard it was to take off the seat bolts, so was wondering the torque setting. Is it recommended to use blue or red Loc-tite? Thanks for your response.

The seat bolts come off very easy we have not had any issues at all. It would not hurt to do blue loctite.

Here is the bottom side of the tuffy box and you can see that they use one large piece of steel that is bent with the tabs not welded.

Love my tuffy drawer! It fits a lot more than you think it would: GPS, Ipod, Phone, my whole purse, car keys and room to spare all at once. Thanks northridge4x4

I have the Tuffy...and really like it. It's USA made and well constructed. Used their bolt lock on the right bolt to add peace of mind that no one can just unbolt the seat and get my weapons and wallet. I have fit my fullsize revolver, my semi auto pistol and the JEEP manuals. It's really quite spacious for a underseat drawer.

Highly recommended...

Just installed my Tuffy.
Very Easy!! 10 minutes tops.
I had read that the bolts were tough to get out. Not a problem at all.
Think Ill get a lot of use from this mod.
