JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What CAD program do you use?

I use AutoCad 2009 @ work. Full version 2011 runs about $4K.

Doesn't Google have a free CAD software? Sketchup, or something?
http://sketchup.google.com/

It might be perfect for doing some light CAD

I use CATIA at work and I hear it is stupid expensive for a license.

I have access to all of the Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Inventor, Mechanical,...) as well as Solidworks. The are great programs, but far too expensive for the average joe. I usually recommend Alibre for most home users. The personal edition is only $99 and it is really easy to learn and use.

I use Solidworks at my office. Our parent company in Germany uses Pro-Engineer.

Both are relatively expensive unless you are able to get an education license.

Solidworks and Dassault Systems introduced a free 2d drafting program called Draftsight. I'd check out the free stuff and determine if its something you want to explore before getting into expensive solid modeling programs.

at work i use autocad 2011 and at home for just quick stuff google sketchup gets the job done. autocad is all i have ever used so i'm partial to it. But i also use arcmap for GIS work and cad seems a whole lot more user friendly as far as function and key shortcuts.
