What to do?
Okay, so I have a question for everyone. I currently have an 2008 JK with 72,000 miles on it (extended warranty just expired). The local dealer is giving me two options:
Option 1 is a 2011 Saraha Tan with half doors, same payment as I have now
Option 2 is a 2012 Saraha Tan with full doors, $50 more a month than I pay now
Option 3 is keep my awesome Rescue Green and have it paid off in 3 years
BTW, the 2012 has the new motor and they will take every after market item off and put it on the new Tan Jeep, lift, wheels, tires, bumper, winch, Dynomax catback etc.

If there isn't anything wrong I would keep the rescue green. No since in.paying alot of money for the same thing... or should I say a different paint color. Yes I know there are more differences...

If the interior upgrade is what you want you can do so much more with after market stuff for much less. Im guessing the Penstar isnt going to have you rocketing down the road like Jeff Gordon either. Enjoy your baby!
The pull away from a 2012 vs a 2011 looks pretty good. If they are willing to swap everything they can for no aditional charge and honor the factory warranty it doesn't sound like a bad deal for the 2012 (says the man with a 2011).
I figure my budget to always have a car payment (stupid Californian logic) so in that sense if it is $50 more a month for the "new car" feel, then it is worth it to me. I think the 80 more HP is worth it HOWEVER if you are fine with your '07 then why not just supercharge it for $5000?
Then again, i like having the peace of mind of a good warranty...
I'm going in this weekend to trade my wife's beetle in for either a 2dr '11 Rubi or maybe a tan '12 sport (i like that tan). My wife has made it clear my JK is now HER jk...
Heres the kicker for me (kinda being in the same siutation), They haven't cracked the new Bosch ECM yet, so Superchips and RIPP have no product for the 2011 as of now. They may not for a long while. So if I want more performance, I am leaning toward the 2012. It is a consideration for me...
