What do you guys think about this trailer?

Ahh, mods, I put this in the wrong forum. Feel free to move.

$375 obo

I've been looking for a smallish utility trailer for camping etc, I've been searching the local classifieds lately and found this. I know next to nothing about trailers but from the pics I can see the bed doesn't look rusted. The hitch looks a bit small, probably not a 2"? Needs a lot of work I'm sure, but that's okay. Anyone know what it is? Good price?

looks heavy duty enough for scrapes, etc. It is kinda small though...Price is decent, but it would need to be painted to protect from rust.

Trailers around here seem to start around 10 ft. long (for ATVs, etc)

Main question is...if you like it and think it's a good deal, do it!

it looks like it could be a nice little trailer. the ad says heavy duty, not sure how heavy it is. is it 1/4 or 3/4 or 1 ton? might want to ask the seller those kind of questions. looks pretty sharp, and for the price it seems like a hell of a deal!

Looks like it is an old 3/4 ton military trailer that had the original "pintle" style hitch removed and replace with a standard ball hitch. From the two pictures, it looks like a solid trailer, the bed looks pretty rust free as most of these old trailers look like swiss cheese. If the axles and springs are in good shape, that price is fairly reasonable.

Edit: I clicked on the link and had a look at it, looks like someone swapped out the original straight tube or I-beam style axle and replaced it with a full floater, 8 lug, Dana 60(maybe, hard to tell from photo) for whatever reason. Hell that axle alone may be worth half the price, or more, of the trailer if its in good shape.

I'd walk up with $300 in cash, bet it would take it.

It has potential , they had a big sale/auction at the local reserve and had a few trailers come up , wish I would've had the extra cash to buy one

Turns out its an M105A2. One and a half ton. Old style 24v lights. I think its a bit too much for me. Plus they weren't going to go down on the price and I only havea $300 limit. I have more pics... Will upload them later.
