Best thing IMO to use is Virgin Tears works really well it's just really hard to get your hands on some.

 

You supposed to wash black wheels, hell that's why I gottem, so I didn't have to worry bout cleanin them. Cheap Cragers, get too f'd up, just paint um, dirt and all.

 

My buddy at Discount Tire, who I've bought every tire from over the last 6 years, puts tire shine (Armorall, etc) on his matte black wheels. He's done it for a bout a year and a half and they don't look any worse off. He says it actually helps keep some of the AZ dirt & mud off though it didn't help him ward off the many rock chips
