I have an 07 steel blue unlimited. I am new to the forum and new to the jeep world as well. As my tires near the end of their life i feel it is finally time to begin upgrading my jeep and give it that aggressive look i've always wanted it to have. I basically have $1600 to spend on wheels,tires, lift and other mods. (for now of course haha)

After seeing all of your great jeeps I don't know where to begin

Look on the billboard and see if anyone is parting out a jeep, it may help you find some good stuff cheap!

 

how big do you want to go? What kinda of wheeling do you do?

 

For now it's only going to be my DD. I was thinking 33" because after that I feel like there is too many modifications to be done to go any bigger for my price range

 

since you mentioned its a unlimited, is it a x, sahara, or rubicon? You can pick up stock rubi springs and shocks for cheap. Also a set of stock rubi wheels and tires (32").

Or search diffrent vendors for a wheel and tire combo you like and less than 1k, then get a 2.5bb from TF and be under budget.

Always remember once the bug bites, the itch wont stop!

 

Sorry forgot to mention that it is an x. I have been looking wheel/tire packages mainly at discount tire direct. What is the best place to look?
