Thats a crazy picture
I like the ideal of two sets of tires, but I decided to go with an all terrain tire.
I'm hoping my Mickey Thompson ATZ's will be okay for winter.

If you can thats great I think its safer with two sets of tires, some of the mud tires don't even have a single sip

Have fun in the snow

The Hankooks are studded and sipped, so they should be a lot better in the snow. I didnt want to run the chrome wheels in the winter so I got the Soft 8s. They spray magnesium chloride on the streets here in Montana in the winter. It will kill chrome in one winter even if you clean them all the time.

What does it mean when a tire is "sipped"?

i think that is "siped" and it's when they make small cuts in your tread to help with traction i do believe.

OPPS, siped. They make little cuts in the tire so the tire opens up on the ice and you get better traction.
