16'' Stock Steel Wheels

I remember seeing a few of you guys running the stock 16" X steel wheels with bigger tires.

Can I get some pictures?

Also, what size tires are you running. What kind of tires are you running? What Size can you run, without a lift? Do you need spacers to run the bigger tires?

consensus seems to be 265/75/16 max. going to pepboys today to go price out tires for my jeep for those exact rims.

Hey, it's been a few days. Did you end up picking anything up? Winter's coming quick, and I don't see these stockers doing very good in the snow (they're just "alright" in the rain as it is!) Let's see some pictures

I have run 265/70 16 on my stock steel rims. I have read where some members have run 285/70 16 which is about a 33" tire without a lift or rubbing problems. It will depend some, on the tire design.

I have different rims now, but here are my stock rims w/ the bigger tires.

I heard about some members with the 33" tires, and I've seen a few, but it seems they're all lifted (something I can't do right now).

I mean, having something with a little more meat would be nice, and there's definitely room for some more tire. I was looking at the BFG All-terrain, since it seems they're a very good all around tire.

Basically, it's just me trying to figure out how big I can go on stock rims & suspension without having rubbing issues.
