Holy cow, that thing looks pristine! Around my area (DFW metroplex), '07/'08 2drs with 100-170k miles get listed for $14-16k. Just guesstimating, I'd think close to $18-19.5k?

I pulled KBB round here, and in excellent (private party sale) it was saying basically what these high mileage JKs were being listed at. I think for our JKs in particular, KBB runs a bit low, or at least doesn't reflect the same demand. I think for the right buyer you could squeeze more out of it, namely due to the condition. Y, getting a 3.8L nobody is thrilled with, y, manual windows. Alternatives are redonk price of JL, or a 3.6" JK someone has probably ragged on. It's an interesting jeep. Definitely more of a 1-off than typical used JK.

Ok, I was offered 13k for it without even listing it yet. But figured I should hold out for at least 15,500 to 16k. It’s just such a pain here to sell. Everyone nit pics the crap out stuff. Yes it has some rust on the frame but I’m in Chicago people. I have seen rust on a New JL.
I sold my 2013 2dr Oscar mike with 49k for $21,000 and it was even cleaner. Haha.
Fricken dealers offer nothing on these, basically trying to bend me over.
Kbb. Says $14-16k private party in Chicago on the 07. But people like to low ball like crazy here

take a few days off, drive it to texas, and fly home. LOL. I've seen '02 and '05 TJs with $125k miles for for $13/14k here.

Not a deal breaker at all. I bought both of my jeeps without the power options, specified it actually. There are folks who don't need those niceties.

I don't think the power locks/windows matter either. Kinda shocks me a bit cuz that is the only option I really care about myself, but ton of JKs on the road without. When I bought mine in '13, it was part of the u-connect package, and that was a $2500 option. Lot of people desperate for a jeep and trying to save $2500 off the price I guess don't care about electric. Then, there are those people like Karl mentions that specifically don't want it. In a 2dr, even less important than in the 4dr..

If you are wanting to sell it, you might consider some less traditional means as well, because what you have is not your typical 12yo vehicle IMO. Might throw it on eBay with a reserve, or look at other auction sites like Bringatrailer.com (only costs $99 to sell it there, buyers pay the fee). There are people outside of the Chicago area that might have more of an interest in that. Just a thought. The days of being skeptical of buying/selling cars online sight unseen are a thing of the past. Happens all the time, every day.
