Haha, yeah I thought about this the other day.

Oh well, we are the pioneers. All those 08-09s are just copying the original (superior) JK. We are dinosaurs from a simpler time when JKs didn't need things like TPMS and oil change lights or storage nets on the dash, and an X or Sahara could have 4.10s too. Those were the days, JKing in it's purest form.

yeah, we have the simpler systems.

TPMS= when you hear flap, flap, flap and the Jeep pulls to one side.
Oil change light= when the little engine lights up on the dash, the engine smokes, then stops suddenly

LOL, thats it I am not waving at anything newer than a 07

Althought I do have the oil change light in mine. Works like ass though. Stupid thing will come on 500km after getting an oil change

i thought that too... but we do own the FIRST of a new generation! Despite the problems... i still like the number 7 better than 8 or 9... the next best number would 13... but jeeps with probably fly or hover by then, therefore defeating the off road purpose

2007 Owner: "I bet you cant get up and over that hill"

2013 Owner: "Watch me, [jets firing up]"

2007 Owner: "Thats cheap dude"

2013 Owner: "Your just jealous"

derailed...

I just found an '07 JK 4 door with over 70K miles on Autotrader. I hope that guy has had it more than a year.
