2008 to 2012 comparison
Both JKU Saraha's, 3.73, 6 speeds, hardtop
I live in Colorado at 10K feet, mostly hwy driving
400 miles on the 2012
Power is better, but I expected more with a 40% increase in HP. It will probably get better like the 3.8 did.
MPG on the 2008 was 22, got 23.5 on the first tank on the 2012
The interior is vastly better, don't by a new one without uconnect
The husky liners fit the front fine, the cargo mat in the rear is usable, it's up a little around the power outlet
Interior noise seems less, don't know why, but it's better
I cannot get to the nut on the top of the passenger side front shock, will have to pull the fender liner out and take a closer look before I can change shocks
Looks like the rally lights harness will still work to install H4s
The shifter is off set to the left, no more grabbing the passengers knee to get in reverse
They put a detent in the hinge on the rear door so it stays open on a slant, about time
I'll update at 1K
Love my new JEEP

1300 miles
Power keeps getting better, one gear higher will hold speed on most mountain passes
MPGs in first post was from the DIC, hand calculated second tank was 21.6, third tank was 22.5
This is my third wrangler and by far the best one, glad I made the trade
