2011 JKU softtop fit on 2017 JKU?

Anyone know if a 2011 factory JKU soft top will fit on a 2017 JKU?

Thanks.

As long as you get all the hardware and windows, yes it will fit. There have been small design changes over the years that could result in miss-matching parts from different years. The safest is always to make sure you get all the hardware and windows and it will fit.

+1. I've had an '07, '12, and a '15 on my 2013 JKU. As long as you use the corresponding hardware/door surrounds for that particular year, all is well.

Thanks for the quick replies. That is kind of the impression I got after doing some more research. It's nice to hear others say it.

Make sure you get the roll bar mounting brackets as well. I made that mistake on a Craigslist find.

Oh. Good catch. I wouldn't have thought about that.

Would this be the same for fitting a 2010 soft top on a 2017 sport wrangler?

resharp001 06-17-2020 06:54 AM

It's the same, but you'll find the newer tops are going to be much nicer. As long as you have the corresponding hardware (door surrounds, mounting bracket, etc) you can put any soft top on there.

It would be the exact same. You won't find the premium material on a 2010 though.

Okay sweet. Will the header latches line up as well? Above the windshield, I’ve read they might of moved them over throughout the years.
