40% hp increase and an added gear to the tranny is not just a little more power to me. 205 to 285 is a HUGE jump.

What are my options for adding the lockers? This is the biggest thing I want from the Rubicon because I had Quadradrive II on my Grand, it it was awesome.

I have not driven a 2012 yet, but I would go with the Rubi. With all the raving about the pentastar, you should be able to steal that 2011!

I drive a 08 Rubi daily, so I guess I may be a little biased or maybe blind. I drive slow and look at the sights, can't imagine the 3.6 will make it worth the extra money. Considering you will have to spend $$ to turn it into the Rubi you want.

Assuming you are financing; If you can afford a 2012 Sport for 60 months, I bet you can get a 2012 Rubicon for near the same payment at 72 months. Just something to consider if you really want it all! (I did.)

Look at it this way. You already will be getting the rear D44 with the sport and the front axle isn't a weakling by any means. I would buy the Sport and get ARB's front and rear. The main thing imo that the Rubi offers that the others don't is the transfer case. But if you keep your eyes open you can find one at a decent price. I have one for sale right now for a 2007-2012 for a 6 speed equipped JK. Trust me and as the others on here have said you cannot beat the new 3.6. It is a world apart from the old 3.hate.

Depends on how you want to drive it. If it’s a DD then get the Sport, if you want to wheel it get the Rubicon.

I would consider my geographic location. Here in Houston, most of the terrain is flat and a Rubi with 4.10 gears will be adequate. Now if I lived in Colorado, I would consider the higher horsepower engine. Also take into consideration which JK are you buying, the lighter weight 2 door or the heavier 4 door JKU. Do your homework and decide what is more important to you, not to others.

I have thought the same thing, but I am pretty sure I can't match the 0% for 72 mos that I got on my 2008!

I traded my 2008 Unlimited X with some mods for my 2012 Unlimited Rubicon and I would never go back to the 3.8 4 speed auto combo, it just plain sucks. I have started over with payments and I am glad I was able to do it now, before used 2012s kill off a lot of the 07-11 resale value.

Chrysler was almost dead in 2008, that's how we all got great deals and so much equity in our Wranglers, don't bet on that happening again real soon.
