2011 JK Black...sticker was $31300, I paid $27,000, and I had a trade. Gave me trade in value (2004 Dodge Neon SRT4). I also got the $1000 cash back. Bought 7/29, old car was dying, couldn't wait for a 12'. No regrets, love my Jeep!

Every purchase is indeed different, I went at end of month theory. Jeeps pretty much sell themselves, someone else would have bought it if I didn't. Only "real" games they played was with the trade in, I laughed at their 1st offer.

My original sticker on my 2012 unlimited Rubicon was $41747. Thats leather, front seat side airbags, 730n nav, climate control, uconnect, painted top and flares, auto trans...the only options I don't have are dual top and engine block heater. I had a Chrysler F&F # and got them down to 37,600 including 70,000 maxcare warranty. I traded a 2006 Commander that had 95,000 miles and one serious accident on its carfax (did $11,000 damage). I hated that jeep and during the 95,000 miles I owned it i'd only changed the oil once (LOL). At the time the transfer case wouldnt operate in 4Low and the check engine light was coming on. I disabled the warning light and hoped they didn't test the 4wd. Front brakes were shot, passenger side power window only occasionally worked and third row seat was seized in down position. It was going downhill fast. They gave me $9500 which was about right based on the accident. I got 2.9% financing through my bank. Originally I had the Maxcare warranty on it that offered a refund if not used. I never used the warranty so I got $1500 back from Chrysler the week before I traded it in.

I find it hard to believe that you went 95K miles and only changed the oil once.

Up here in my neck of the woods the best I could get was about 3% under invoice + the $1000 rebate on a 2011...

On a 2012 (I had to order it since none were on lots) I got 2% under invoice. So I ended up paying about $1500 more for my 2012 than a comperably equipt 2011 since the price for an Auto went up in 2012... To me it was well worth the difference since even getting a NEW 2011, you have already eaten 1 year of resale depreciation at this point in the game...

Just received a loyalty coupon from Jeep for an extra $1,250 off if I buy before 9/26. That would be on top of the already available $1,000 rebate and my Affiliate pricing. I was tempted initially to pick off a 2011 instead of ordering a 2012. However, the remaining inventory of 2011 six speed unlimiteds in my area is pretty bad. Everything that I find is fully loaded with uncessary options and is black, green or red - not for me. I think I am going to hold out an order a 2012 - either Crush or Gecko. I am in no rush as I already have a 2011 2 door sport that I plan on replacing.

^Yup....
This is more or less the type of discount I was expecting to see.

2%-3% under invoice plus $1000 rebate on a 2011 versus 1%-2% under invoice (and no rebate) on a 2012, along with the increase in invoice cost from 2011 to 2012.

I would think the difference would run in the $1250-$1750 dollar range. $1500 makes perfect sense.
I think the big ticket seller for some people would be the 0% financing on a 2011 (instead of the rebate) along with getting it below invoice. Especially on a stick shift. (The new auto tranny on the 2012 is 50% of the improvement)

You guys need to be buying up those 2011's. Seriously it is a muuuuuch better deal. Plus I want a 12 and I am holding out for cheap intrest and maybe a little better deal. That wont happen until you guys buy up the 11's. I own my current vehicle with no loan, and it is worth about $29K. I still owe about 40K on my house. If I trade for a new jeep and get zero intrest, I can just about pay off my house and have a 0% loan. IN the words of Charlie Sheen, "Winning".

My 2011 was stickered $31,575 picked it up for $24,575, savings of $7,000 even.

That was with employee discount and around $3,000 in incentives.

I can do a lot with $7,000 lol
