I have a 2012 Sahara Unlimited Sahara that is showing stress marks/paint cracks starting on both front fenders. the jeep is only two months old and hasn't been off road. The passenger side is worse where the paint crack is a thin line of black developing from under the hood straps and runs down along the fender 90 degree bend (follows the line of the fender if that makes sense). The drivers fender it's just starting under the hood strap so I'll see if that gets worse.

Has anyone experience this with fenders as it seems like a stress crack or something with how the fender was put on incorrectly (to tight somewhere)? I'm wondering if the dealer would repair this under warranty? Thanks all.

take it back and have them warranty it, that is unacceptable.

I visited jeep today.

Just the way they're painted. All the new ones on the lot, 11's and 12's, have the same thing.
