2012 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited - anyone own one yet - How do they drive?
I'm considering trading in my 2008 2 dr Rubi for a new 2012 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited. Can anyone test drove or bought one let me know what you think of them? How does the new engine and tranny work off road?

i test drove an 11 and 12 back to back. the dealership was trying to sell me an 2011 for a great deal. that being said i ended up with a 2012 rubicon and i absolutely love it. it drives great and the engine and transmission make the 2012 the one to get. power and acceleration are greatly improved over the 2011. def recommend getting a 2012.

Traded my 2010 in for a 2012 and don't regret it one second. Drives great on the road, is my daily driver. Putting 35s on it this weekend and that will be the real test for the new engine and trnas

Traded my 2007 2-Dr Rubicon for a 2012 4-Dr Rubicon. Northridge 4x4 swapped all my mods from the old Jeep to the new. So the same 3.5" lift, armor, bumpers, and 35s.
Manual transmission on both and I love it. No regrets! The power is still awesome even without regearing.

Traded in my 08 Unlimited Sahara for a 12 Unlimited Rubicon and don't regret it a bit, the engine and trans are night and day difference, I actually think the tranny is the biggest improvment. GO for it, while the 08 is still worth something.
