2012 JKU issues?

I think I may have found the JKU I've been looking for: 2012 Unlimited Sahara, 3.6L VVT, 6-speed manual, @26k miles. Appears pretty much stock, clean in and out. Carfax looks good, but it does indicate that the car was in for warranty service on the transmission at @19k miles (8/2016), then again at @21k miles (3/2017). Original sale and all service was done at a Jeep dealer out of state. I've been reading about some issues with the NSG370 transmission, which I presume this one has. Does anyone here have first-hand experience with this model, whether with the tranny or anything else, and/or suggestions on what to look for? Thanks in advance.

I have 2012 with manual trans. I've had zero trans issues. Now at 106,000 miles. At least 6000 miles of that was towing a 4,000-5,000 pound trailer. There were people having problems with the manual popping out of gear due to the rubber boot around the shifter.

My '12 manual has no issues at all either. My mileage is still pretty low (54k), but a lot higher that what you're looking at.

The manuals are pretty robust, fixes are relatively inexpensive (compared to auto), and you don't generally end up with a rolling brick on failure like with an auto; you can usually manage to get around.

Just be sure to ask what the service was for, take it for a proper test drive, and if nothing feels too wrong and everything else looks good, I wouldn't stress too hard about that part, especially if the price is right.
