It won't matter much if you're off-roading, you'll still have much (if not all) the same issues anyone else has with 37s and a 4 inch lift. This thread discusses quite a bit of it.

The 22's will get you more grief than anything.
Curious on the lift you went with. Unless it is a cheap pos it should have everything sans maybe high steer to be able to run 37's. Gears and a programmer would be highly recommended as well as some C gussets if you only plan to be on road.
A good complete lift is needed for on road performance to maintain good steering and ride at speed. You can throw cheap incomplete shit on a jeep that is mainly off road bound.

There's a lot of great info on here to sift through, I'll throw my 2 cents up just in case you got bored and required more info. I have a 2013 JKU Sahara (D30/D44) with an AEV 2.5" lift and 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers and STOCK fenders, I love my setup.
- Would you and/or I benefit from after-market fenders? For sure, however, I wheel mine a lot here in Idaho/Oregon and trips to Moab and haven't really noticed that much rubbing unless I'm really flexed out.
- Gusseting a D30, IMO, just relocates the weakness of the axle itself to the knuckles or the shafts, etc. It's a D30, it's bound to fail you if you wheel enough.
- Steering assist? I don't have anything other than the damper/shock and as far as I'm concerned it steers just fine, when it's not windy out.
- Lastly...4.5" lift with 35's...yes that's quite a bit of wheel well opening, but I've seen it and it's not terribly odd looking. Definitely 35's look better between 2 and 3.5" lifts.

It's okay to not know what you're doing. But, you really don't want to do that to a Jeep. Do yourself a favor and buy a Lincoln Navigator or Ford Expedition or Nissan Armada or something where folks who own them haven't a clue about how those mods compromise their off-road performance. Honestly, the vast majority of Jeep owners will either laugh at you or throw up a little in their throats upon seeing what you've done to your rig.

They sell Jeeps like this at the dealerships by me for 80k+. Too-tall lifts with massive dished wheels and low pro tires. People buy them up like candy. I don't get it either, but there's a market for it.
