6 SPD w/4.10 gears - Mileage?
Hi there! I have a JK 6 spd with 3.21 gears and am wondering what kind of gas mileage you are getting with the 4.10's? I need more pulling power but want to maintian reasonable mileage.
Thanks! |
According to my computer, I am getting around 19mpg. This is mostly rural driving with moderate stop and start.

Consistently 17.5-18 for mixed driving, I'll do 20-21 if its all highway
goes down to 16.5-17 with no doors or top. These are hand calculated, so they are definitely right... Hope this helps. |
On highway, a little over 20 mpg, as measured during a recent 5,000 mile trip. About 18 city. Both calculated. Computer reads about 1-1.5 mpg high most of the time.

We are getting 16-17 mixed driving and alot of hills. Plus my fiance has a lead foot. :yup:
|
18.5 all summer with the top off. No towing yet. Mix of round town and 1-2 hr trips.
|
wow you guys are getting pretty good...i got 17 hwy for 7 hours straight at 75mph...

19 with mostly highway (including honolulu rush hour - 900,00 people on a 44x30 mile island with basically 1 major highway). on a 4 hour drive from west texas to dallas i got around 24.
