7 foot garage.

I have a7 foot high garage. Does anyone else have this problem and what kind of tires and lift can you get without hitting top?

You can go up to about a 6" lift on 40" tires.

I don't have an answer for u, but something to consider as well. I was able to fit mine with a 3" lift and 33's but as soon as boarding season came around, my snowboard rack was just 1/2" too tall and I could no longer fit. So just think about your hobbies and how u will need to set ur jeep up. Had I known I wasn't gonna fit anymore, I woulda go the snowboard holder that goes on the hitch instead of the roof

A stock Rubicon with a hard top is specified as 72.3" tall.

7' is 84" tall.

Stock Rubicon tires are 32s that likely measure about 31" mounted.

35s that measure 34" tall would be 3" taller--adding 1.5" to height.

A 3" lift, plus 1.5" taller from tires, equals 4.5" taller than stock, equals 76.8" tall.

37s that measure 36" mounted would add 2.5" in height, plus a 6" lift (crazy tall), equals 8.5" taller than stock, equals 80.8" tall. So, 3.2" clearance left in a 84" garage.

The same jeep on 40s that measure 39" tall would add another 1.5" in height. So, 82.3" tall and 1.7" to spare in a 7' garage.

Worry less about the height of the garage than the garage door. Make sure you can clear it. I have an 8' garage, but the way it's built the garage door doesn't clear the whole height. I was able to go from the small Sport tires to 31's and I MIGHT have room for a two inch lift.
