This is something that I've been practicing and preaching for 40 some years. ......If it's made in China, then I won't buy it. I know that some of the things we purchase have small, inconspicuous parts within it that are Chinese, and it's impossible to be 100% domestic. Hell, even the paint on our vehicles -- the pigment comes from China. Rare earth elements in our headsets are Chinese. But as already stated, the money we spend on Chinese products DOES go to the military.
Even though there are private companies over there, the COMMUNIST GOVERNMENT owns at least 1/3 of each company, and the profits they make are enormous. Don't even talk of quality.....their stuff is junk. |
I agree that we need to buy domestic instead of Chinese made stuff. Lucky for us, there are lots of companies that are US owned and operated. All we have to do is a little bit of research before we make a purchase.

How about posting a List of " Made in USA " JK parts- brakes, clutches, hoses etc. Not " assembled in USA", but made in USA. Might be a short list.
A lot of Mfgs say " Made in China to our specifications" . |
Where there's a will, there's a way. If you've got no will, then you've got no way...

Here's a link to a thread discussing USA made items...
I didn't start the mods list with US made items with the first jeep, but I have since tried very hard to do so. The big problem is Corporate America drives manufacturing overseas due to several reasons... A whole different topic and I'll just say it sucks. I do what I can when it comes to buying USA made items. here's the link and I'm sure there's others that can be added. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-t...8/#post3072949 |

Unfortunately for both Allied Racing/Raceline and Walker Evans, they use cast blanks from China for their beadlocks. However I believe Raceline has a forged series beadlock wheel that is made in the USA. Having said that I do own both a set of Raceline Monster Beadlocks and a set of TrailReady's. Have had no problems with either but was pissed when I first got the Raceline's since I was under the assumption they were made in the USA. I don't have any of these as a computer is something that is not bought regularly by me but I would definitely look into it for my next one which I don't see being in the near future since I ruse a Mac. |
