Default All idiot lights stay illuminated

All the lights on the dashboard remain illuminated when the car is on, according to My Wife this morning. Has anyone experienced this before and fixed it? When I get the chance I’m going to disconnect the battery and reconnect it and see if that resets it but until then I thought I would ask.

You can get some weird dash lights when the battery is dying. You may want to have it load tested.

This exactly. A dying battery makes weird things happen with our dash lights, and sometimes even the tach or speedo. I experienced this myself as have quite a few others on here. It's not uncommon for stock batteries to die a sudden death around 2 years.

Battery’s fine. Lights come on when I hit around 12 mph. No loose ground connections. Took it to a mechanic, against my ego, and he thinks it might be the abs or ecm.

If you haven't already, suggest that you pull your TIPM up and check all of the connectors on it. Pull them off, clean up any detritus with some electrical contact cleaner, and put them back on.

I haven’t done that actually. Thanks as always for the help. I found step by step instructions on how to remove it, but I can’t make sense of the instructions and am looking for a video. Can’t find that either. Ever done it?

It was the ABS control module.
