okay. so if you guys havent noticed i droped off the site for a while after that rubi got sold n i gave up on wranglers for a while. and then i discovered the NON-turbo supras are cheap as hell and insurance was the same for a supra and the wrangler. and so ive been tryin to convince my dad to get me a supra. and well he still dosent like them because they have alotta miles and that kinda stuff. so basically im stuck between this x

with enough work i can convince my dad to get the supra. but i know my dad will get that wrangler no question. and im just not sure wat to choose :(. im absolutly am in love with supras, and i love wranglers too (supra will allways be my one true tuner love though) and with 3 other friends with jeeps, and some kids with tuner cars, its so hard to choose.

my main question. would that wrangler be worth it, dont forget the supras just go up in value, while im sure wranglers dont :p

hmmm a 15 year old car (an ugly one might I add IMO) with 150,000 miles for 10,200$ or a 1 year old car (edit: oops dead cat) with 8,500 miles for less than 20,000$.... seems like a no brainer to me. Plus, the wrangler gets 5 star frontal crash test rating. I don't think you can say that for the supra.

 

^ it will go up over time for a 100% stock one. which is how i would keep it untill i can afford a twin turbo one and get that. or if i decided to mod it. i would prolly keep it for a easy 15 more years (or untill my wife wont allow it :p)

i also like the supra for its holy crap factor. i mean people see jeeps all the time but if u see a supra its like HOLY CRAP LOOK SUPRA!
but i do live where it snows and i would Daily drive it which is where the X becomes more practicle. they both have their good n bad. but its jus so hard.

I wouldnt say they go up in value, but they sure so keep their value well. I think it has best resale value of all suv's.

Honestly, I think that may just be you and your buddies. Nothing against Supras, but I've never said that about one, nor have a been around anyone else that has said that.

I came into the Jeep from a quick little sporty thing, and I don't regret it for one second. Yes, the supra can be moded a ton, but Wranglers are the most modable vehicles out there.

I drove a 4x4 in high school and most of my friends had sports cars. They would race to each others houses and I would just take my time. When I got there, 10 minutes later, and they were laughing at me because I was slow, I would just drive up on their lawn and park in the landscaping. That usually shut them up.

P.S. I don't condone that behavior. It was stupid and destructive (but fun.)

 

^lmao. my friends are like that. they have "fast cars" (only one of them really has a fast car) and they are like all cocky and think their the shit and wana race me. and i know a supra would shut em up no questions (:p). but a buncha my friends have jeeps and i can also see alotta fun times with those

 

Well, do you want to crash into a tree or roll your 1st vehicle. That's the real question. I have always been into tuners and I love supra's but that one isn't so cool...looks shabby and no turbo.........Jeep it up, dude.
