I know the new motor will be in the 2012, but has any one heard of a mid year release or color offering? Any additional tweaks?

Seriously, the 2012 model is confirmed to be a major change - i.e.: steel sheet changes. And the engine. I bet something like the lower40.

I just hope they forget to deliver shame again, and bring us a real Jeep.

The armageddon edition right? I heard it comes with automatic side steps, automatic soft top, and an optional flower holder like the VW beetles...
jk i don't know probably the pentastar engine.

I was at my Dealer yesterday for inspection and oil change and asked the Manager about the Pentastar engine. He told me that the 2012 Wranglers will definately have the new engine. He also said there aren't going to be any exterior changes. Not sure how reliable that is but he seemed confident about the information.

The 2012 has to have a exterior change... they HAVE to make a more curved windshield and somehow a more aerodynamic front end. without that they probably wont make the mileage requirements.

They need to ditch the folding windshield idea, we dont need it, and almost everyone who has tried it has been dissappointed.
