Any News on the 2012 JK?

lots of interesting info in the last few posts.. yet nothing to make me decide to forgoe an extra gear in the tranny..
now if jeep announced at least $5000 off sticker on all 2011 Wrangler Unlimiteds this weekend, I could seriously be in trouble. I mean I want the new stuff.. BUT I had no actual problems with the current engine.. just slow.. but tolerable. (I never tried a 3.8L matched with an auto tho...) my 2 door had 3.21 and my 4 door had 3.73, both with 6 speed manual.
I'd take the new 2011 interior, maybe a Rubicon, in either Mango or Silver. But I would strongly like a Rescue Green, Detonator Yellow, or Deep Water Blue too.. anyone know if those last 3 colors are available in the 2011?

i just spammed all 5 of my local dealers again. Said if any of them can reach $5000 off sticker i might buy this weekend. Cuz its the truth. Thats a lot of money to save in my eyes, compared to what will be offered on the 2012.
I will of course post in this thread if anyone bites. (I dont expect them to..)

First dealer said he'll let me know if he hears of any new rebates. Good answer.

The second dealer is just plain stupid. Here is his reply:
The problem we have is, there aren't actually any rebates on Wranglers. Any discount you see on a Rubicon is just a dealer discount and since we all pay the same price for Wranglers in California, you should be seeing simular discounts, depends on how much a dealer wants to lose. Once the 2012 models come out in the 4th quarter, we would be LESS likely to discount that vehicle, and we haven't been appraised of any major changes on the vehicle.
So, you would have to clue me in on what the benifit is to getting a 2012 this winter when you can get the same rig now for less? I'm happy to give you the lowest price I can, but thankfully it isn't hard to "sell" Wranglers so let me know! Thanks!

Right now the best deal I've found on a Rubi is $31, 850.
That is w/ the manual tranny, Air w/ auto temp, Connectivity package, Tow package, heated seats, engine block heater and hardtop.
For a Sahara w/ manual tranny, Air w/ auto temp, connectivity package, tow package, limited slip, and color matched hardtop, for $29700.

thats what he was talking about.. but by him saying he knew of no changes to the 2012.. he's just disrespecting me right off the bat, blatently lying. And if he really doesnt know about the new engine, well thats just as bad, isn't it?

he backpeddle'd real quick.. conveniently not mentioning the "no changes in 2012" again..
I know where you are coming from. It's just I don't think there is anything wrong with the current Jeep. I see people in Tahoe with thier '11 models, thier '91's, '81's, 71's, 61's and 51's and they are all bad ass. My granddad kicked Hitlers ass in his '41 so yes, there is always something "newer" around the corner.
All of a sudden he did know about the new engine.... that dealer is probably off my list, as i already have 2 really good dealers im working with anyway.

A 3rd dealer also replied and said he will let me know of any promotions like that the minute he hears of them. Another good answer.
