Best way to mount a hilift jack? (post pics)

Just got mine, and want to know the best way to carry it...hood? Bumpers? Inside?

There are tons of options just do a Google search and see what you have. I personally would not mount to the bumper where it can be damaged easier, if it could be mounted on the bumper so it does hit stuff all the time I might change the way I think.

Inside out of the elements would be the best way. However, this is not always practical. Personally I have mine mounted to my OR-FAB tire carrier with a cover on it.

I have mine mounted to the hood and have had zero problems. Everything is still tight and works fine. Like everything for the Jeep it's personal preference.

How about using quick fist then you can mount it any where. This is what i used on my mountaineer rack to mount my shovel and ax to it

Endroad.com is the site that sells the quickfist and they have diagram of how to mount the jack

But I ended up removing mine for now and will just use the mount when i go on trail runs. I keep my hydrualic jack in my JK for eevryday use (if needed).

Most of the noise comes from the base plate. On mine I had to run a bungee cord to tighten it up...could not stand the rattle.

The cover and handle isolator also helped. Now I only get rattles when I hit large pot hole or train tracks.
