best way to ship used parts?

I've just been through this selling my 2006 TJ takeoff parts.
By far the best is USPS standard (parcel post) provided the box weighs less than 70 lbs and the girth (2xWxH) + length does not exceed 130 inches (for lightweight but large packages weighing up to 20 lbs the girth + length can't exceed 108 inches). You have to deliver it to a post office.
You'd be surprised how most takeoff parts will fit in this category. Even a takeoff bumper in a box made to fit it will ship from California to New York for $40, not including any extras like insurance or signature required.
For smaller items like 4 shocks, they can often fit in a priority mail flat rate box and ship for under $20. They have some pretty good large flat rate boxes that are suitable.
