Default Besttop Trektop?

Have any of you guys seen the new Besttop Trektop? I am trying to find some specs on it but there is not a lot out there yet. It appears that it is a hardware-less soft top, along the lines of the one that off-road heroes was pushing a while back.

Yeah, it does look nice. I really like the price though. I saw it somewhere online last week and after the discount promotion it was less than $500. I want to say it was around $460. It looks fairly easy to take on and off as well.

Yeah, that was the 2-door but the unlimited model was just over $500 with the discount.

I was considering one as well untill..... I just found that one of the velcro straps on my Safari top has shredded almost into right where it is sewn into the top. Now I plan to wait a bit to see if anyone has any problems with this first instead of being the guinea pig for how long it will last with normal everyday use.

They have it for a 2-door and a 4-door, The 2-door looks awesome! I' thinking about getting the 4-door, but does it use some brackets and stuff, or..... I don't know do you just latch it on??!?!?

Here's the link to the installation instructions

It looks like they give you some "wire frame" door surrounds, the front uses their header, & the tailgate has velcro you have to glue to the tailgate.

Ooohhh... that's disappointing. Do they really think that velcro is going to hold those sides on especially if using the "sunroof" option (even if the back window is out?)

Doesn't step #9 look like both the window and the sails velcro at the back?

Since they are the OEM soft top manufacturer, why the hell don't they use an OEM style header and have the top use OEM door surrounds and the rear bar instead of velcro. Once again they had an awesome idea and fucked it all up. All it would have taken was a little more ingenuity and they could have had a really cool product.
