Default Built D30

Upgrading my front axle and am getting rid of the D30 I have. Question is, what's it worth? It's sleeved, gusseted, 5:13 gears, only run synthetic, and never been off road..

$200. Does it have a locker? If so, then more...

Sorry - D30's aren't high-demand...

I've seen them go for about 1k stock. I have a friend selling his stock 44 for 2k. The problem is with the gearing you have and shipping. Someone may want your axle, but may have to re gear or ship, in which they are not willing to pay as much. I would sell for $1,500 and stay negotiable. Hope this helps!

This is also very true. Most are looking for a 44 or better. May have to take what you can get.

I am local and may be interested depending on the pricing. If you come to a price, PM me, maybe we can work something out.

Rick.

Why did you beef your D30 up if you never took it offroad?

Even a bad pot-hole can bend your C's. It's cheap insurance to strengthen a d30.

I paid $600 plus shipping, for mine with an ARB locker, ( no air compressor)
It had gussets, sleeves, gears ( had to change that anyway, due to having 4:10 and not 5:13). Complete from brake to brake.

That said, I NEEDED a front end ASAP, and the guy was willing to ship........ also for some reason, there wasn't a front end of any size on the forum to be found under a $1000 .

I figured the ARB was worth a few hundred, I had a D30 in already and it was almost as simple a swap as possible.

I went with it due to the fact that other than the center pumpkin, the JK D30 and D44 are for the most part basically the same. If i wasn't running gears above 4:10 I figured that D-30 built up will stand up to most of what i was going to be doing.

If you went to buy at salvage yard they run over $1100

Hope this helps......
