Spring 2009. That's when tbe Mahindra vehicle lineup hits the US
It wiill have 105 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque. I will have an inline-four, common-rail diesel and a six-speed automatic transmission and get 30+mpg. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. collaborated with Willlys-Overland to assemble Jeep-like vehicles. it was release in australia this year. The reviews are 80% negative. http://www.caradvice.com.au/3030/the...-in-australia/ |
They are Horrible ,Ugly and just a terrible looking thing. One of the Jeep dealers here in Sydney is tied up with importing them into Australia.
Some fool neareby me has gone and got one and I think he is getting a complex because wherever he gos people stop .stare . point at him and laugh. Cheap they are and that is what you get a cheap stupid looking piece of c***. |
They can't really think that they'll sell many of those things over here... it's fugly at best, and despite some glowing reviews that reek of corporate marketing-speak, I doubt that it will have the on-road features that most US buyers shop for... I mean, despite its ride quality, the TJ was a worthy vehicle due to what it could handle off-road... I don't think many would sing the praises of Mahindra in the same way.

105 HP!!!
Wow, Thats worse than my Dads Diesel VW |
I can't believe they are giving that thing our 7 slot grill. It looks like someone taped a jeep grill on plastic tonka truck.
What's wrong with the Patriot for fuel efficiency? I test drove one (a little curious) and it didn't suck. Not only that but it doesn't look like a character from Toy Story. The Patriot even gets one of those cool "trail rated" badges. :D |
Looks like a joke. kill it.

That is just not a funny joke!!:puke:
