Default Clock Spring / Air Bag issue finally being investigated

I found several news articles, all saying basically the same thing. That "U.S. safety regulators are investigating complaints that a wiring problem in Jeep Wrangler steering wheels could stop the air bags from inflating in a crash."

There was a recall back in 2011 for the right-hand models and now they are finally looking at the left-hand models as well. They say there are only 211 complaints (I was one of them) so if you haven't already done so, and you have this problem, go here: https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/Vehicl...nt/index.xhtml

Here's a link to one of the articles: Federal regulators investigating possible air bag problem in Tol - Toledo News Now, News, Weather, Sports, Toledo, OH
