I didn't think about that, but where I do most of my off roading there aren't many trees, mostly desert. Still doesn't change the fact they look better.

The hood is a Mopar Power Dome, I don't know why they decided to do that instead of the AEV heat reduction hood, as the heat reduction hood is what was originally advertised.

I didn't know that they made more of these than the arctic. Hum. These things are sweet looking.

I love this Jeep but I am not happy with the winch problem! (previous post deleted until I settle this with Jeep)

Its winch ready, but as with anything it requires mounting brackets or some hardware to attach it. What's nice about it is it sits almost completely inside the bumper, which is what the bracket is for. I think I paid $1300 total for the bracket, dealer install, and a warn 9.5Cti. What I didn't like too much was filling the holes left after removing the plate with plastic glugs.

Yeah, the 6 speed would have been awesome, but I lost both my legs in afghanistan so I have to drive with hand controls, so the manual wasn't an option for me.

I'm not trying to derail the thread but I feel compelled to say thank for your service, and for your sacrifice. Brave and selfless men and women like you help provide safety, security, freedom, and the hope of a better future for my kids (and all of the kids out there). Thank you sir.

Thanks, Sharkey. I appreciate that. I have no regrets and It's been fun learning to wheel with hand controls and a spinner knob!
