Default Corrosion advice needed

Hello everyone, I need some advice on corrosion control for the magnesium/aluminum engine parts on my 2011 Rubi. I am in the military so for all of my overseas posts my jeep has been shipped via boat. The exposure to salt air has taken its toll on those aluminum/magnesium spots and I want to do some control and prevention on them. Should I use a wire brush and coat it with something or should I hit the parts with a Drexel and then treat? What products/methods have you folks used? I have babied the Rubi and it looks great, but my OCD is getting stretched to its limits over the appearance of these parts. I don't want to amplify the problem by hitting the parts with acidic solvents. Any advice would be appreciated.
