Sheets of paper taped around the edge of your hood with staples sticking out of them. Solve your prob in one night! Had the same problem when I lived in an apartment, got worried about them using my ragtop as a scratching post. Oh yeah, get a video camera, its funny as crap.

You could try laying little strips of duct tape upside down all over the place where it usually lays.

My wifes 20+ fat cat always climbs on mine and I hate cats myself. I tried the panic and the first time I did it it scared him but now he just gives me a stupid look!!
