Diff fluid. .. what's popular now.
 
Just checking to see what everyone is having luck with. I've used royal purple in the past but I know lucas is big now as well. My rear diff needs changed soon so I'm upgrading both covers.

All i use is redline. ever since i wheel xjs


and use it in the vette, and the harley.

If you're changing it every 15k like I do, it's all the same. I run Mobile 1 synthetic, but that's because it's always the cheapest synthetic at Advanced.

The front looks brand new when I change it, the rear has a slight discoloration.

85W-140 if you tow with your jeep. 80w-90 if you don't tow with it.

Look in you owner's manual. Answers folks have already given are not in agreement with what my '07 manual says.

First off, LOL that last remark.

With new diff covers, don't overfill. Most folks will make a mess in their driveway if they fill on aftermarket covers until the fill port flows over. It is higher to accommodate taller lifts, not more lube.
