Mostly use it during NFL season. Never need to choose between missing a game or going out 'wheelin.

 

Just renewed for a year. Radio out here is absolute crap so Sirius is the best option. Nice to have on #30 while wheelin in the desert.

 

I subscribed when the free trial was over. Sure, you can argue against "paying" for radio but that's the same argument we had for cable TV back in the early 80's. You get what you pay for which is dedicated, targeted programming to fit the interest of those that subscribe. No one will ever listen to every channel as there is so much diversity but if I really think about cable TV, I probably only watch about 5 - 7 channels of the hundreds available.

I wish the sound quality was better but you can't beat the programming.

 

Personally I think terrestrial radio in North Ga is crap, Listen to 19, 20, 24, 100,101.

 

Station 20 99% of the time. LOVE the SAT radio.

 

For some reason, when the free subscription ended, I lost all the channels above 101. Its been like that for a year. I lost all the talk radio, but have the music channels, but its free, so I am not complaining!!!

 

I'll use it sometime until my free subscription expires. I would never pay for radio. Just another corporate attempt to get their 10 bucks per month of your hard earned money.
