Does the sun visor decal come off?
 

On my new jeep, The decals on the sun visors are driving me nuts, before i start something or use something that regret in hinsight, has any one removed them?

They don't come off easily at all. A few people report success but more report dismal failures. I replaced my visors with newer ones as the wife wanted the mirrors, but I gave up removing the decals on mine, they are just bonded on there to well.

If you have a 2011 or 2012, they are not coming off. Check out Pixeldecals for some cover up decals that you can order in any color you want.

Don't do it....you will void your warranty

Just ignore them, over time you'll forget they're there.

took visors off of my 2012.
wife gives me a weird look as I sat down in the living room with them and a razor knife.
started with the drsd first.
15 minutes and barely just got 1" x 1" off.
took a hair dryer to it.
sliced the F'n visor while peeling the decal with the knife.
F BOMB! no saving it now. cut the vinyl off of that one complete.
wife gives me dirty look. "great, more jeep stuff to order."
fire up the computer and find out they are like $160/ pair.
2nd F bomb of the night.
another dirty look from wife. "How much?"

now looking at leather on line to wrap them both to match the Katzkinz. :thumbsup:

They came off easy in my 2008. I peeled 'em off a few months back.

Yeah up to 2009 the came off easy but now they are bonded to the vinyl. There are several good stickers made to cover them. I ended up getting a cd visor holder which works well.
